João is a Senior Analyst at Valor, responsible for sourcing deals, evaluating investment opportunities, and supporting portfolio companies, mainly focusing on Retail, Agtech, Healthtech and EdTech. Prior to joining Valor as an intern, João worked at Aqua Capital, a Brazilian Private Equity firm focused on the Ag & Food value chain. João graduated from Insper with a degree in Economics and attended one semester as an exchange student at the University of Pennsylvania.
João is passionate about technology, sports and food. In his free time, he likes to read, play tennis and cook.
