Carlos Costa is a Partner at Valor Capital Group, primarily focused on evaluating new investment opportunities across the seed and growth stages, and supporting portfolio companies. Prior to joining Valor, Carlos Costa was a Senior Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, where he worked for almost 5 years in the Brazil and Silicon Valley Offices.
Carlos holds an MBA degree from the Harvard Business School (Class of 2018), and during his period in Boston, he was the Co-Presidente of the Brazil Conference at Harvard & MIT. Carlos was on the Emerging Stars (Junior VC Midas) list by Alpha Partner’s global survey.
Carlos is Chairman of the Board of the Endowment Fund of UFBA, his alma mater in Brazil. He graduated in Business Administration and Law, and is a member of the Lemann Foundation.
