Bernardo is a Senior Associate at Valor Capital, where he focuses on sourcing deals, evaluating investment opportunities, and supporting portfolio companies, primarily in the fintech sector.

Before joining Valor, he worked at Sanar, one of Valor’s portfolio companies, as head of strategy and later led one of its business units. Prior to that, he was a consultant at McKinsey & Company in Brazil. His experience also spans the aerospace and automotive industries, as well as M&A advisory.

Bernardo holds an MBA from Harvard Business School (Class of 2024) and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UFBA, having completed part of his studies at RWTH Aachen University in Germany.

He is married and has a son. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, traveling, reading, and spending time with his family.
