What a week we had in Rio!
It was thrilling to see so many of our friends, peers and meet new people coming into town for the first edition of Web Summit Rio. The main event took place ove the course of 4 days, which made for a perfect excuse for us to gather our close network over some delicious food and drinks. Our first happy hour happened on Tuesday night and was co-hosted with Alexia Ventures, Norte Capital, Riverwood and Endeavor Brazil. Our second event happened the next day, when we gathered our Crypto Community. We co-hosted with our friends from Fuse Capital, a local crypto fund based in Rio.
Our Managing Partner Michael Nicklas was also a speaker at the main event – he spoke about ‘What makes global-calss founder’ and was joined by Gina Gotthilf, Izabel Gallera and Sacha Spitz.
The city is set to host the event for the next 4 years, so we’re super excited to return next year!
